Nothing on Some Stuff Reviewed is sponsored. We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or any form of consideration in exchange for a review, a score, a placement, or a favourable mention. This is not negotiable.

Gifted items and press samples.

When a review is based on a press sample, review unit, complimentary ticket, or any other item we didn't buy ourselves, we say so on the page. A gifted item never guarantees coverage and never influences a score. Items are returned where the publisher requests it, or disposed of / donated where they aren't.

Affiliate links.

If a link on this site earns us a small commission when you use it, it is marked as an affiliate link. Commissions never determine what we cover or how we score it. We link to the best version of the thing for the reader, regardless of who pays what.

Conflicts of interest.

If a writer has a personal or financial relationship with the thing being reviewed — a friend in the band, prior work for the studio, an investment in the company — that relationship is disclosed inside the review or the review is reassigned. When in doubt, we say so.

Reader reviews.

Reader reviews live under a moderation queue. We remove spam, harassment, doxxing and hate. We do not remove opinions we disagree with. See the method for the scoring key.

Corrections.

If we get something wrong, we correct it on the page and note the change. Serious factual errors get a visible correction; typos get a quiet fix.
